Aah!

Here comes one of the most expected questions in the subject of Online Earning. I will explain this in the simplest way possible.

The way you earn via Amazon is via Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing allows Marketers to earn a commission whenever they refer a product which is sold on the Amazon website.

This is done by attaching your own created Affiliate ID in the URL of the product hosted.

Now it depends whether you want to market the products on the Amazon’s country specific website. Whether be it Amazon USA(.com) India(.in) UK (.uk) China(.ch) and the list goes on to about 14 countries!

Once the user goes to the Amazon website via your link, and doesn’t like the product but goes to the homepage and maybe shops for any other thing, the Affiliate ID is still carried in the URL and amazon gives you Commission for the product purchased.

I will show you an example, there are 2 types of Amazon Affiliate URLs, Short and Long Full Form.

Both these URL’s link to the same URL, but the one you would see on Youtube is those short ones, just to make them look decent. Both these URL’s carry an Affiliate ID.

To sign up, just go down the homepage and under the sub heading Earn via Amazon, you will see a link Become an Affiliate.

Just join it and fill the form. You need not be compulsorily 18 to join this! :D

And you will need a Bank Account with any recognized bank from your country and a Government approved Tax number. (Eg. PAN in India)

You will have to get your personalized URLs from the Amazon and you can shorten URLs too! Most of the URLs linking to Amazon via YouTube or Blogs are mostly Affiliate Ones.

It doesn't matter to the customer as they need not pay higher for the product. Also the commission rates vary as per the product you choose. Here are the Commission Rates for the Amazon International website:

 

 

I will recommend you to add your most Credential Websites and Social Pages that you own. And you should recommend the products that are actually good and work as per shown.

Also, the interested ones are recommended to Install an Amazon Associates SiteStripe, which allows you to generate URLs quickly. You can even include the whole Image of the Product enclosed in the Link. Sitestripe just sits on the Homepage of the Amazon website and won’t disturb you on any other sites :D
